A series of articles promoting our faith in Jesus/Yeshua the Anoined and exalted Son of The Most High God

1: Inerrancy and the Scriptures: What shall we do? This is an issue that can tear the Body of Jesus apart, i.e. unless we approach the Scriptures objectively and so that God can always be glorified. We should never be afraid to analyse the Scriptures God's way for God is knowledge and wisdom and His Spirit will always contend with the spirit of deception (error). So let us boldly approach our most precious heritage, namely the Bible in all its diverse translations (here meaning English as the final product of course). Those who are applying foreign languages can and will of course also be entitled to do so. For knowledge will always shine through God's Plan of Salvation for one and all. |

2: Wat is die Heilige Gees? Krag of Persoon?

6: God's PIan and Destiny for Israel NOTE PLEASE!!! "Day of Reconciliation" is officially "Day of Atonement" for a Jew. Paul deals with the redemption as man having been reconciled unto God, i.e. through Jesus' crucifixion. However, should one deal with "Yom Kippur" as commemorated by the Jews to this day, it is better to word it as "Day of Atonement". Atonement = satisfaction, reparation or expiation made for wrong or injury or making amends. Theologically meaning the reconciliation between God and man effected by Christ's life, passion and death. (Standard Dictionary). To atone then means to make repayment (see Paul's Letter to the Romans, namely that our debt was fully paid by Jesus/Yeshua on the Cross). Christ's death on a Roman Cross then indeed expressed the full purpose of Yom Kippur, namely Christ having brought full redemption on a heathen stake (!) and so that the Law of sacrifice for the sins of man, could apply for ALL nations (Abraham as father of ALL nations), i.e. then the eternal sacrifice that was brought by Christ in His own body on the Cross and therefore in place of the recurrent animal sacrifice on Yom Kippur (OT) bringing about only temporary reconciliation (atonement) between God and man. For this purpose Jesus (Yeshua) alone could satisfy the Law (He fulfilled the Law) for His death on the Cross as foreshadowed by Abraham's complete obedience to God, i.e. on the word of God to sacrifice his son, was then brought to full completion (perfection) - see Math. 5.17. In God's appointed time He Himself was then going to send His own dear Son to bring to fullness the purpose of the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), i.e. in accordance with his implicit message to Abraham. Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMaschiach) is then indeed the seed of Abraham (Paul) - see also Gal. 4.

7: Is there something as "Christian" Gnosticism? Calling for an objective approach. Although mainline Catholicism did of course also participate in public worship, total freedom of "Christian" worship only came with Constantine I. It seems Simon Magus (Acts 8) escaped persecution and clearly because of his type of his apostate worship and influence gained with the people at large. Trends that are strongly in sway in broader society can then indeed have an effect on one's culture and faith and this is why the apostles of Jesus had to fight with all their might against apostate influences but, regardless of the apostles' resistance to this type of onslaught, apostasies were nevertheless subtly imported once they had left the scene. Belief in a triad in worship was indeed accommodated by the Church Fathers and Gnostic influence can hardly be denied should we retain objectivity. Likewise the mother worship, rife among heathen cultic worshipers, had its particular impact the same way and clearly via Gnostic thought and practice. |

8: God Stuur Sy Seun Sodat Ons Kon Glo! . |

26: The Tree of Life The Tree of Life implicitly means the "Word of God". Jesus/Yeshua is the Word of God (John 1.1; Heb. 1). If we have Christ in our lives as Redeemer, we indeed have the fullness of the Scriptures revealed to us and with Him central thereto as "the secret of the ages past" (Paul). |

27: On the Didache and Baptism This article covers the baptism conveyed to us on Pentecost day as it appears in the Acts of Luke (a New Testament apostolic book) contrasted with the Trinitarian baptism inscribed in the Didache (Teachings that are not apostolic). It is said that Clemens I propagated the Trinity or then a Trinitarian viewpoint. It also seems that he is that very one who regarded himself as Paul's successor and apostle of the Corinthian assembly. We may therefore link Phil. 4.3 to him, however, this is sometimes regarded as mere assumption. I, however, and in accordance with the research that I have made, maintain that Clemens I was indeed part and parcel of the schism that had taken place and which is mentioned by the Apostle Paul in 2 Thes. 2 - shortly after Paul and Peter had left the scene. He was a Nazarene (Essene) who must have known Sint Ignatius, also presumably from the same background. The transition from first-century apostolic Christianity to post-apostolic Christendom with of course the schism wedged in-between, would indeed have been evident, i.e. once it had fallen in place, however, it seems there was indeed a strong notion at work of discreet subtlety and so that the transition could have taken place as discreetly as possible, leaving of course the impression that the post-apostolic Church was a true continuation of the first-century Church! The "autographs" are the first apostolic letters on the whole dictated to "secretaries" and we must then differentiate between this type of initial writing and follow-up copies which would have contained marginal notes and even corrections. We do not have the original autographs anymore at our disposal but what we do have are copies of earlier copies. If an autograph is found, it would mainly be a fragment of the original apostolic writing. A full, first-century (!) apostolic writing would indeed be a rare find. |

Why would it be right to "agree to disagree" on Godhead issues? Even Paul states in 1 Cor. 13 that we now see through a mirror dimly but then face to face! Although we then are making an effort to search the Scriptures and to explain them, there will always be something we will not be able to explain FULLY in mere words. Therefore we must search the Scriptures, believing God's Word and always placing the focus on FAITH in God's awesome greatness! |

The only time Abraham seems to have failed God was when he listened to Sarah, i.e. when she ordered him to father a child with her slave as Sarah by then must have lost all hope - or she never had any faith in the prophecy given to her and Abraham previously. Yet, God allowed it and this is the crux! or else God would have intervened timely.
